Anything which has mass and can occupy space ...or the presence which can be felt by anyone or more of our five senses( eg :perfume ) is known as matter.

•There are 3 general and 2 special states of matter that is solid, liquid & gas and plasma & Bose-Einstein Condensate(BEC) respectively.
•Everything we can see and feel around like sun, stars, TV., Me, You all are examples of matter.
