The physical substance that builds our world, occupies space, has rest mass is called matter.
Matter doesn't has types. It has states.
There are 7 states of matter:

1.
Bose-Einstein Condensate: The state of Bosons is usually formed at absolute zero when all the bosonic particles have the lowest quantum state and forms a unique matter wave. The particles in this state follows Bose-Einstein statistics.

2.
Fermionic Condensate: The state is very similar to Bose-Einstein Condensate. The difference is that it is referred to the fermions existing at absolute zero. These particles (fermions) follow the Fermi-Dirac statistics.

3.
Solid: The form in which all the constituent particles are packed tightly.

4.
Liquid: The form in which the constituent particles are losely packed and can flow. Kinetic energy of particles is higher than solids.

5.
Gas: The form in which constituent particles have very weak attractive forces and can spread out. Kinetic energy is higher than liquids.

6.
Ionic Plasma: The state at which the elections, protons and neutrons acquire so much energy that they move around freely in form of ions. The candle flame is an example of ionic plasma.

7.
Quark-Gluon Plasma: Further when the protons and neutrons acquire more energy, they dissociates into quarks and gluons which together forms a soup like structure, called the Quark-Gluon Plasma.
