What is matter? how many types of matter in the world? what is non matter

Any thing that has mass and occupies space is known as matter

There are 3 types of matter -solid ,liquid ,gas

where as non-matter plays opposite role of matter it means that ...Anything that lacks the requirement such as weight and space is know as non-matter.

There is no such substances which are non-matter ....ex-we cannot conclude a cloth in solid form ...we also cannot say it as non-matter as it is semi-solid nor matter nor non-matter it is the borderline of both.

MATTER: Any object that has mass and occupies space is called Matter.

The Matter are of three types :

1) Solid

2) Liquid

3) Gas

And the things that does not has mass and does not require any space in the air is an. non matter .

Everything is an matter so, there is no thing as non matter .
