Acids : Acids are corrosive substances (Not always) which are sour in taste and turn blue litmus into red colour. They include but are not limited to - Hydrochloric acid , SULPHURIC acid , nitric acid. Etc

Base: Bases are also corrosive substances ( Not always ) which are bitter in taste and turn red litmus into blue colour. They include but are not limited to - Baking soda , Sodium Hydroxide Etc.

Acid + Base = Salt + water
