2) Food molecules completely break down.

3) Carbon dioxide and water are formed.

4) More energy is released (38 ATP molecules).

Anaerobic Respiration - 1) It does not utilize oxygen.

2) Food molecules partially break down.

3) Ethanol or lactic acid along with carbon dioxide are formed.

4) Less energy is released (2 ATP molecules)
