It is a part of physical science. It is the study of nature and properties of matter and how substances react with each other. As we know anything that occupies space and has mass is called matter.Hence, chemistry, virtually deals with everything that we see around us.chemicals are not just the substances that we see in lab, the water that we drink, the air that we breathe, the food that we eat are all chemicals.Even in physics we study matter; the difference is that in physics we take a more specialized approach, while in chemistry we study matter with respect to its composition, structure, behavior and the way it undergoes changes when it interacts with other chemicals.
