The intake of oxygen or any other gas is known as inhaling. In other words breathe in is equals to inhale. This is opposite to exhale (the exhaling of carbondioxide or any other gases).

We inhale the gases into our lungs through mouth and nose. In nose there are notril hairs which protects from the dust particles to inhale.

In lungs the gaseous exchange may occurs because pf aleveolar sacs they increases the space for the gaseous exchange which is essential process in our life for survival.

We take oxygen (inhale) and release carbondioxide as the waste product (exhale) in respiration.
