The naturally occurring materials in which the metals are present in the native or combined state are called minerals.Out of many minerals,the metals can be conveniently and economically extracted are called ores.ALL THE ORES ARE MINERALS,BUT ALL THE MINERALS ARE NOT ORES.e.g. clay and bauxite are the minerals of aluminium,but bauxite is the ore of Aluminium.
