The ozone layer or ozone shield is a region of Earth's stratosphere that absorbs most of the Sun's ultraviolet radiation. It contains high concentration of ozone (O3) in relation to other parts of the atmosphere, although still small in relation to other gases in the stratosphere.

❤Hey!❤

Ozone shield is the layer of ozone located between 20 to 26 km. above the sea level in the stratosphere of the atmosphere. It is formed by combination of oxygen and nascent oxygen in the presence of low energy UV-radiations. It acts as a protective umbrella to earth's biota as it absorbs harmful and high energy UV-radiations of solar radiations.

Thanks
