Pythagoras property is the property, which states that,
SQUARE OF THE HYPOTENUSE IS EQUAL TO THE SUM OF THE SQUARES OF THE OTHER TWO SIDES.
FOR EXAMPLE, IF 3,4,5 ARE THE SIDES OF A TRIANGLE, AND 5 IS THE HYPOTENUSE,
3²+4²=25.
HYPOTENUSE SQUARE=5²=25,
WHICH PROVES THAT THE TRIANGLE IS THE RIGHT TRIANGLE.
THUS, THE PYTHAGORAS PROPERTY IS USED TO FIND WHETHER THE GIVEN TRIANGLE IS RIGHT-ANGLED OR NOT.

Thank you.
Hope this will help you.

the phythogoras property states that square of hypoteneuse is equal to the sum of square of height and square of base.
ht²=h²+b²

kvnmurty: you have forgotten to mention "IN A RIGHT ANGLE TRIANGLE".
