Ratio => the relation between two numbers which shows how much bigger one quantity is than another by comparing bigger quantities in smaller numbers... ^_^

Example: There are two quantities: 4000 and 12000

You have to compare them...

$\frac{4000}{12000} \\ = \frac{4}{12} \\ = \frac{1}{3}$

1/3 or 1:3

In that you can compare that how much 12000 is bigger than 4000
