Vector- Have Magnitude and direction 
Scalar-Have magnitude  only

In physics we have two types of quantities-


1 - SCALAR QUANTITIES - The quantities which have only magnitude are called scalar quantities. For example- Speed, energy etc.

2- VECTOR QUANTITIES - The quantities which have magnitude as well as direction are called vector quantities. For example - velocity, force, momentum etc.
