Grassland is an area where the annual rainfall is insufficient to support a luxuriant growth of trees but is still high enough so that deserts are not formed. Temperature ranges between 20 °C and 30 °C. The annual rainfall varies between 50 cm and 90 cm. Grasses like buffalo grass, rye grass and foxtail grows in the grasslands. Animals such as blackbuck, wolf, cheetah, hedgehog, giraffe and the gerbil are the various animals found here.
