g(of) means when two function g(x) and f(x) is given then , in g(x) , f(x) in place of x . e.g g(f(x)) is written g(of)
Let us one example : -
g(x) = x² + 2x + 1 and f(x) = sinx
then, g(of) = (sinx)² + (sinx) + 1
