Subadari was the post of highest officer in the revenue department of the Mughal Empire. The tenth Guru of the Sikhs made an army to fight against the British, and they were known as Dal Khalsa. Misl was the smaller groups of the Sikh army to fight against the British army. When a noble person got the power of Military administration during the Mughal Period, it was known as Faujdari. Ijardari was a reformed form of Jagirdari where a middleman collected revenue from them. Chauth was the 1/4th share of land revenue collected by the Marathas. Â Sardeshmukhi was a percentage of land revenue approximately 9 to 10 % by the Marathas and paid the head collector of revenue.
