The air that remains in the lungs after each respiration. What remains in the lungs, amounting about 100 cubic inches, is called as Residual air.

2) Dead air space :
Dead air space, a blog maintained by the members of the band Radiohead. The space between panes of glass in insulated glazing, is called Dead air space.
