The small circular area at the back of the retina where the optic nerve enters the eyeball and which is devoid of rods and cones and is not sensitive to light

At the junction of the optic nerve and retina,there are no rod and cone cells. No image gets formed at this point as it is insensitive to light. This point is called the blind spot.
