Answer:

1 displacement reaction

the reaction in which more reactive element takes the place of the less reactive elements from its compound is called as displacement reaction.

example: Fe(s)+CuSO4 (aq)------->FeSO4(aq)+Cu(s)

explanation :  rub an iron nail with sand paper so as to clean the surface of the nail .Take Copper sulphate solution (blue) in a conical flask and place the iron nail in it . After some time the nail acquires reedish brown colour and the blue solution changes to green (FeSO4)

2 reduction reaction

reduction reaction is defined as a process which involves

i.gain of hydrogen

ii.loss of oxygen

iii.gain of electrons

example : CuO+H2--------->Cu+H2O

explanation copper oxide is reduced to copper by loosing oxygen . Hence it is a reduction reaction

3.combination reaction

combination reaction is which two or more reactants combine to form a single product

example: CaO+HCl--------->Ca(OH)2

explanation:calcium oxide is adding with water very slowly as it is highly vigorous as well as exothermic.
