The kelvin scale is called THE ABSOLUTE SCALE as it does not have negative values. achieving zero on kelvin scale is called absolute scale when any kind of matter turns to BEC-Bose Einstein Condensate. Absolute zero is fundamentally IMPOSSIBLE to attain. The closest one has ever got to absolute zero is 170 nano-kelvins.
