The organisms which don't possess a cell are termed as acellular. Eg. Virus. Virus is neither living nor abiotic. Living beings are composed of cell & cell products whereas abiotics are devoid of cell and cell products. But acellular organisms (virus) show interesting phenomenon I.e. they appear living inside a living cell but nonliving in environment. they are categorized as acellular. They don't have a cell machinery, they use their Host's machinery to carry out there functions.
