Heya!!
The biological term " adaptation" means that ,
some organisms makes modifications/changes in their habitat. so that they can be better suited in that environment.
This process is called adaptation,
for example, let's take camel.
As we all know, it lives in the desert areas and we can see many special features in it. it has a capacity to store 70 to 80 litres of water at a time. because there will be no availibility of water in desert areas. it has hump to store fat and not to lose its energy while roaming in the hot areas. it has long legs to escape from the heat that is emitted by the sand in the desert. it has slightly closed nose to get rid of breathing the air mixed with sand in such sandy places.
so, camel made these adaptations (changes) for a better survival in the desert areas.
