These are hydrocarbons alkane is saturated hydrocarbon (contains only single bonds) and alkenes and alkynes are unsaturated hydrocarbons (contains double and triple bomd respectively).

alkanes,alkenes and alkanes are the types of hydrocarbon. the structure of these are given below:

alkane---------CnH2n+2

alkenes-------CnH2n

alkynes-------CnH2n-2

........if we put n=5

we get

alkane------C5H12

gradually we will get others
