The fluid present in the sac like structure aminion around the embryo. Embryo develops in this fluid filled cavity, which keeps it moist and protects it from mechanical injury.

It is a clear, slightly yellowish liquid that surrounds the unborn baby (fetus) during pregnancy. It is contained in the amniotic sac.
