Amoeboid movement is the most common mode of locomotion in eukaryotic cells. It is a crawling-like type of movement accomplished by protrusion of cytoplasm of the cell involving the formation of pseudopodia and posterior uropod.

Amoeboid movement: Some of the cells in our body like macrophages and leucocytes in blood performs amoeboid movement. It is done by pseudopodium. Microfilaments are also involved in the amoeboid movement.
