Acids made by using amphoteric metals are called amphoteric acids .

Those metals who show both acidic and basic properties in there oxide for are know as amphoteric metals.

Eg of amphoteric metals;

  • Aluminium (Al)
  • Zinc (Zn)
  • lead (Pb)
