aqueous solutions means water is also present along with other liquid but in non aqueous solution water is not present!!!
example of aqueous solution is NaCl and that of non aqueous solution is a solution of Ethene in the solvent dichloromethane

the substance which dissolve in water is called aqueous solution
ex:benzene alcohol
the substance which doesn't dissolve in water is called non aqueous solution
ex:solution of sulphur in carbon di sulpide
