Apartheid is the official policy of racial separation and ill treatment of blacks followed by the government of South Africa between 1948 and 1989.
Since 1950 the blacks,
coloured and Indians protest against apartheid system. They launched protest monarches and strikes. But the white racist government continued to rule by detaining, torturing and killing thousand of blacks and coloured people.
