In accordance to CBSE class 10 Science Textbook

It is a freshly prepared mixture of concentrated hydrochloric acid and concentrated nitric acid in the ratio 3:1. Aqua regia is highly corrosive, fuming liquid. It is one of the few reagents that can dissolve gold and platinum.
