the sequence of numbers in which each differs from the preeceding one by a constant quantity..
ex. 1,2,3,4etc.
ex. 4,6,8, 10,etc.
ex. 1,2,3,4etc.

By Arithmetic progression (A.P.) of m terms , we mean a sequence .Examples
a , a+d, a+2d......................a+(m-1)d
The real no. a is called first term of A.P. , and the real no. d is called common diffrence.
