body at rest means that there is no change in position per time interval.

uniform linear motion is not accelerated motion because uniform linear motion means that the the speed of the object is constant.. and we know that acceleration is change in speed per time.. but as the speed remains constant.. there is no change and hence acceleration is zero and uniform linear motion is not accelerated motion.

When we say uniform motion, it indicates the absence of acc., as acc. increases/decreases the motion of a body thus making the motion non-uniform.

Thus uniform linear motion cant be acc. motion
