Canal rays are the beam of rays which travels in a direction away from anode towards cathode rays when a gas taken in a discharge tube is subjected to the action of high voltage under low pressure..
It is also called as Anode rays..

heya mate,

Eagles 10 in 1886 discovered the presence of new radiations in a gas discharged and called them as Canal rays.
these days where positively charged radiations which ultimately lead to the discovery of another subatomic particles
