A cash crop is an agricultural crop which is grown for sale to return a profit. Major Cash Crops of India are sugarcane, tobacco, cotton, jute and oilseeds etc. Cotton is one of the most important cash crop in India. It is a dry region crop though it can grow also in the deltaic region.
