Answer:

Matter: Matter is anything which Carry mass and occupy space

there are three types of matter

(1)solid

(2) liquid

(3)gas

propertys of solid

(1) A solid has a fixed volume and a definite shape.

(2) Solid are rigid and almost incompressible.solid generally prosses high density.

(3) Solid don't exhibit diffusion.

(4) In solid intermolecular forces of aattraction is stronger.

property of liquid

(1) Liquid prosses of difinted volume but no definite shape.

(2) Liquid are almost incompressible but not rigid intact can flow from higher to lower level which means that liquid have a property of fluidity and acquire the shape of the container in which her are.

(3) Liquid also have high densities but less than of solid.

(4) In liquid intermolecular forces of attraction are weaker than solid.

property of gas

(1) A gas has either definite volume nor definite shape it acquire the shapes and volume of the container.

(2) Gases are higher compressible.

(3) The gases exhibit the property of diffusion very fast into other gases.

(4) Gases have very low densities as compared to Solid and liquid
