Commensalism is an association between two organisms in which one of the organisms get benefits from the other while the other remains unharmed without any benefits.

Such an association is mainly observed in flegellated protozoans which mostly are aquatic and parasitic.

Moreover, the organism under such an association rarely undergo sexual reproduction and mostly undergo asexual reproduction.
