displacement reaction is a reaction where a less reactive element is replaced by a more reactive element.
For example,
Pottasium (K)+iron sulfate(Fe SO4) = pottasium sulfate( K SO4 )+ iron(Fe)
in this reaction pottasium replaced iron as it is more reactive then iron.
