simply u can learn it by that the one which is on left side is divisor and the one which is on the left side while dividing by long division...is quotient and the one which remains after division is written in bottom is remainder......and the number which is to be divided is written in centre and is called....

A trick of mine...

You can get confuse between the divisor and dividend....so if u have umderstood the above concept...then u can get that most of the time divisor is smaller than dividend leaving the special cases.....so u can memorise it by a trick that by understanding that the divisor have six letters but dividend have eight letters......xd
