Dual Government or Diarchy was started by Robert Clive in 1765 in Bengal.
Dual government is a type of government where the country is ruled by two people or two groups of people.
But only one among the two is dominant and the other is just left below as a dummy ruler.

Dual Government was a system introduced by Robert Clive in Bengal. In this system the nawab looked after the administration and company controled the army judiciary and revenue collection
