Eg- when we rub our one hand with the other heat is evolved and this process is known as electrification by friction...

Under normal conditions the intrinsic field of an insulator for by ions absorbed from air . Friction of one body against another mixes their surface layer so that the compensation is distributed , i. e. , the body becomes electrified .
