PLZ MARK MY SOLUTION AS THE BRAINLIEST.

ELEMENTARY PARTICLES ARE THOSE THAT CANNOT BE BROKEN DOWN INTO SUB PARICLES AND ARE THE SMALLEST PART OF MATTER.
FOR EG, ATOMS, MOLECULES, IONS AND FORMULA UNITS

jay5830: But atom can further be divided into Protons and electrons which can further be divided into quarks and such other things
SWATTIKMUKHOPADHYAY: yes
SWATTIKMUKHOPADHYAY: they are along the smallest part of matter
jay5830: then how can an atom be elementary particle

an elementary particle is a subatomic particle with no sub structure, thus not composed of other particles.

These sub atomic particles together make different particles like electron ,proton etc

jay5830: But Proton can further be divided into quarks
Anonymous: yes electrons protons & neutrons CAN be divided
Anonymous: i wrote ths
Anonymous: i wrote that elementary particles form the above particles:-)
jay5830: ok
jay5830: Thanks
Anonymous: some elementary particles are quarks, muons tauons etc....
Anonymous: if possible plz mark brainliest .......
Anonymous: thanx :-)
