What is meant by evaporation? How is this process different from boiling?.

Sharvari111: Evaporation is the process of a substance in a liquid state changing to a gaseous state due to an increase in temperature and/or pressure. Evaporation is a fundamental part of the water cycle and is constantly occurring throughout nature.

Conversion of liquid into itz vapour form is called evaporation...
Evaporation occurs at any temperature. Evaporation takes away the higher energy molecules, leaving behind lesser energy molecules, thus the effect of cooling takes place.
