Explanation:

The phenomenon of change of liquid into vapours at any temperature below its boiling point is called evaporation.

rate of evaporation increases with-

  1. an increase in surface area: We know that evaporation is a surface phenomenon. if surface area is increased rate of evaporation increases.
  2. an increase in temperature :with the increase in temperature more no. of particles get enough kinetic energy to go into the vapour state .
  3. a decrease in humidity :humidity is the amount of water vapour present in air .the around us cannot hold more than a definite amount of water vapour at a given temperature. if the rate of evaporation is high ,the rate of evaporation decreases.
  4. an increase in wind speed:with the increase in wind speed the particles of water vapour move away with wind decreasing the amount of water vapour in the surrounding.

hope it helps !!!!

Explanation:

Evaporation is a type of vaporization that occurs on the surface of a liquid as it changes into the gas phase. The surrounding gas must not be saturated with the evaporating substance. When the molecules of the liquid collide, they transfer energy to each other based on how they collide with each other.
