What is meant by free fall ? Two bodies, one of mass 1Kg and other of mass 1 kg are dropped from the same height in vacuum. Compare the two time intervals in which the two bodies will hit the ground. ?

Free fall of a body is the motion, when the only force acting on it is the force of gravity.


Two bodies have the same mass (1kg each) and they are dropped in vacuum from the same height. There is no resistive force of air in vacuum. So, the time intervals in which the two bodies hit the ground will be 1:1 because they will take the same time to hit the ground.
