Frigid zone- area lying between the arctic circle and the North Pole in the northern hemisphere and the area between the Antarctic circle and South Pole in Southern Hemisphere is called frigid zone. It is very cold here. The sun rays does not rise much above the ground. Torrid zone- the torrid zone lies between Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. The torrid zone is very hot because it receives maximum heat as the sun shines overhead here. Temperate zone- the temperate zone lies between the Tropic of Cancer and arctic circle in the northern hemisphere and the area between the Tropic of Capricorn and the Antarctic circle in the Southern Hemisphere is called the temperate zone. The temperate zone has moderate climate as the rays are slanting here. Hope it was useful!!
