In green house effect a layer of gaes mainly CO2 covers the atmosphere and the heat comming from the sun reaches the earth surface abd reflect back and then reflected agin by the layer and the layer traped the between the earth and the layer bucause of this the tempreture of the earth increasing very fast which is knoqn as global warming because of green house effect. Let take a example if you have a ballon and you are continuesly transferring heat inside it then the heat will trapped inside it and the tempreature will rise inside the balloon
