Hunger means a feeling of discomfort due to lack of food.

There are two types of hunger:-

Seasonal hunger-It occurs in a community or society at only certain times of the year.It occurs in a community where people are already food insecure. Pattern of hunger persists year after year.

Chronic hunger-It occurs when people lack opportunity to earn money to be educated and gain skills and their basic needs.People lack the resources to buy or grow the food that they need to lead healthy and productive lives.It continues for long and leads to death.
