Hydrated includes water molecules and anhydrous doesn't have water molecule
Ex-cuso4. 5h2o is hydrated blue colour compound
When heated strongly its water molecules release and it left cuso4 which trun white then black

such type of salt which contain water of crystallisation are called hydrated salts..
ex- caso4.2h2o
