A non-communicable disease (NCD) is a medical condition or disease that is not caused by infectious agents (non-infectious or non-transmissible).

infectious disease. : a disease caused by the entrance into the body of organisms (as bacteria, protozoans, fungi, or viruses) which grow and multiply there.

Infectious diseases are disorders caused by organisms such as bacteria viruses etc.
many common diseases spread through vectors such as viruses bacteria etc.However non infectious diseases are not able to spread from one person to another.They may be caused by genetics
