KPO stands for Knowledge Process Outsourcing. It is the child of BPO. KPO provides value addition to the parent company where as it does not involve the cost function to that company.They also provide with better utilization of resources.

The advantages are :

* Solution to difficult problems-  The KPO is basically the an option for addressing the difficulties and managing difficult activities requiring technical skills.

* Focus on the main business- The company should focus on its main business by having experts and must concentrate on the customer needs.

* Optimal use of resources- Every company has its limited amount of resources. So the resources are used basically the human resources are used to satisfy the  needs of the customer.
