Magnetic Compass

A compass is a magnetometer used for navigation and orientation that shows direction relative to the geographic cardinal directions. Usually, a diagram called a compass rose shows the directions north, south, east, and west on the compass face as abbreviated initials. The first magnetic compass was originated in China during Han dynasty in 2nd century BC. The mechanism of magnetic needle is a vertical direction when it's in North-South Direction. ( Always 'N' direction is a main direction which gradually shows of earth geomagnetism poles of North and South ).
