ENERGY is the capacity to do work.

MECHANICAL ENERGY is the energy that is related to position and motion of an object.

TWO FORMS

1.potential energy...(related to position)

2.kinetic energy .....(realted to motion)

kinetic energy + potential energy = mechanical energy.
